Is there a minimum for subscriptions?
No, there is no minimim or maximum. However, if you subscribe to 20 or more MONTHLY (not bi-monthly, annuals, etc) comics, you can get FREE bags & boards, the monthly Previews catalog, and enrollment into the Bonus Points program
If I sign up today, when does my first issue come in?
We can start with the next issue to come out, or a specific issue, or even limit the subscription to a certain number of issues.
Can I get a discount?
No, we do not offer discounts. But if you subscribe to 20 or more MONTHLY comics, you can get FREE bags & boards, the monthly Previews catalog for only $1, and enrollment into the Bonus Points program. That ends up being equivalant to about a 15% discount if you take advantage of all of those.
What's a Bonus Point?
In a nutshell, Bonus Points are a cash-back program that is equivalant to a 10% discount, but in arrears. For every $10 in merchandise purchased, before tax, you earns 1 bonus point that you can use on their next purchase.
Each Bonus Point = $1.
Bonus Points can only be used for up to 50% of your total purchase, and cannot be used with other discounts or coupons on the same purchase. Bonus Points do not have to be used for the next purchase. They will continue to accumulate with every purchase, but they do expire 30 days after the purchase that generated them.
When do I need to pick up my comics?
We ask that subscribers come in at least every two weeks to pick up your comics. However, if there are specific circumstances that prevent this, we can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis, and we might require a credit card to be kept on file. We do reserve the right to discontinue a subscription and sell any held merchandise if the customer does not visit the store for over two weeks, and has not made prior arrangements with us.
Do I need to pre-pay or leave a credit card number?
That is always an option, but unless you have circumstances where you cannot come in regularly to pick up the items on hold, we do not require it.
Can I special order a single issues or a certain item?
Yes. We will purchase and hold any items currently available or offered in the current issue of Previews. On certain items a deposit of 20% may be required.
Do I need to fill anything out to become a subscriber?
Yes, we have an easy-to-use subscription form. Right click and save your own here (Word document).
Can you tell me/give me a list of what I have on my subscription list?
Yes, available upon request.
How do I make changes to my subscriptions?
You can make additions and subtractions to your printed list or let us know verbally.
I don't like this book anymore. Even though you had it reserved for me, do I have to take it?
We do prefer that customers give us a month's notice when cancelling a series. However, you can put just about anything back, as long as you let us know that you don't want it anymore so your list can be changed, with the exception of items you've special ordered (a statue, graphic novel, toy, game--anything non-comic) or items we wouldn't regularly carry in our store (comics of a more adult nature, for example).
